Saturday’s Premier League action kicks off at White Hart Lane where Tottenham Hotspur host Sunderland.

The hosts go in to the game on the back of Wednesday evening’s 1-0 defeat to high-flying Leicester City – their first league defeat in five and only their third of the season.

A return to winning ways here would see them move level on points with leaders Arsenal, who go to Stoke City on Sunday afternoon while anything less would give both West Ham United and Manchester United the opportunity to leapfrog them.

Manager Mauricio Pochettino has no fresh injury concerns with midfield duo Ryan Mason and Nabil Bentaleb the only absentees.

Top scorer Harry Kane is favourite to open the scoring at 4.5 (7/2) with Paddy Power, with Christian Eriksen a 7.0 (6/1) chance with the same firm.

The home win is 1.4 (2/5) with William Hill with the visitors a 10.0 (9/1) shot with most bookmakers. The draw can be backed at 5.5 (9/2) with Betfair.

Sam Allardyce’s side beat fellow strugglers Swansea City last time out, thanks to a hat-trick from former Spurs star Jermain Defoe.

Another win here will see the Black Cats move out of the relegation zone at the expense of the South Wales side, who host Watford on Monday evening.

Younes Kaboul, Jack Rodwell and Steven Fletcher are all out injured while DeAndre Yedlin is ineligible to face his parent club.

Defoe is priced at 13.0 (12/1) to get the first goal of the game with Bet 365 with Fabio Borini a 17.0 (16/1) chance with the same firm.

The North London outfit ran out winners when the two sides met at the Stadium of Light back in September, with Ryan Mason notching the winner late on.

Last season’s corresponding fixture also ended in triumph for Spurs with yet another late strike securing the points so you may be tempted to back the last goal coming between the 76th minute and full time at 1.91 (10/11) with Sporting Bet.

Alternatively, you can back both teams to score for what would be the sixth time in seven clashes at 1.83 (5/6) with Paddy Power.
