The chase for Champions League qualification intensifies this Sunday afternoon as fifth place Tottenham Hotspur host champions Manchester City.

Andre Villas Boas’ men have won just once in their last seven games in all competitions, and haven’t played since crashing out of the Europa League on penalties to Basel the Thursday before last, while their last Premier League outing was the 2-2 draw with Everton two weeks ago.

Three points here would see them move level on points with fourth place Chelsea who travel to Liverpool later in the day, while they would go two points behind their North London rivals Arsenal with a game in hand.

Gareth Bale looks set to return from the ankle injury that kept him out of those last two games, whilst Jermaine Defoe is also available for selection. Aaron Lennon could feature despite still nursing a knee problem.

David Silva and Sergio Aguero are both doubtful with hamstring problem, though Jack Rodwell and Maicon could both be available.

Carlos Tevez is 7.0 (6/1) with most firms to open the scoring, with Yaya Toure worth considering at 10.0 (9/1) with Bet Victor.
