Saturday’s Premier League action kicks off at White Hart Lane where Tottenham Hotspur take on leaders Manchester City.

Mauricio Pochettino’s side have won their last two league games, moving them up to ninth place in the division though they go in to this fixture on the back of Wednesday evening’s 2-1 defeat to rivals Arsenal in the third round of the League Cup.

Victory here would see them move, if only for a few hours, into the top five – three points behind their opponents.

Belgian defensive duo Toby Alderweireld and Jan Vertonghen are set to return after being rested midweek though midfield quartet Nabil Bentaleb, Ryan Mason, Moussa Dembele and Alex Pritchard remain side-lined.

Harry Kane, who is still searching for his first club goal of the season, is widely available at 7.5 (13/2) to open the scoring ahead of Heung-Min Son, who is a 10.0 (9/1) chance with Bet 365.

The home win is as highly priced as the 4.2 (16/5) on offer from Bet 365 who have the draw at 3.8 (14/5) while the visitors are favourites at 1.95 (19/20) with a number of firms.

Manuel Pellegrini’s men bounced back from back-to-back defeats by thumping Sunderland 4-1 in their League Cup tie on Tuesday evening.

The 2013/14 champions lost to West Ham United lost time out in the league but can open up a five point lead at the top with three points here.

City have a number of injury concerns with David Silva, Eliaquim Mangala, Gael Clichy, Wilfried Bony, Fabian Delph and Kelechi Iheanacho all out though Samir Nasri and captain Vincent Kompany should return.

Sergio Aguero is 5.0 (4/1) to get the first goal of the game with most bookmakers, with Yaya Toure a 10.0 (9/1) chance with Bet Victor.

The Citizens won both of last season’s meetings between the sides, securing a 1-0 victory in North London in May having romped to a 4-1 triumph in Manchester back in October.

Both teams have scored in six of the last eight clashes, so you may be tempted to back that outcome this time around at 1.66 (19/29) with 888 Sport.
