Match day nine in the Premier League concludes at Wembley where Tottenham Hotspur face Liverpool.

The two sides go into the game on the back of positive results in the Champions League, with Spurs getting an impressive point from their visit to Real Madrid while the Merseyside outfit secured a record 7-0 win at Maribor.

Prior to their trip to the Spanish capital Mauricio Pochettino’s men beat Bournemouth 1-0 – their first home win of the season with the result keeping them comfortably in third place in the table and another triumph here would see them move level on points with Manchester United who lost for the first time this season on Saturday.

Dele Alli could return after being suspended for the match at the Bernabeu and Ben Davies and Danny Rose could feature though the game comes to soon for Victor Wanyama, Erik Lamela and Mousa Dembele.

Unsurprisingly, Harry Kane is favourite to open the scoring at 4.33 (10/3) with Sporting Bet ahead of Fernando Llorente who is priced at 5.5 (9/2) with a variety of firms.

The home win is 2.25 (5/4) with Betfred with the visitors widely available at 3.4 (12/5). The draw can be backed at 3.65 (45/17) with Unibet.

The Reds’ resounding win on Tuesday ended a run of three straight draws – the last of which came against rivals Manchester United last weekend.

Adam Lallana, Nathaniel Clyne and Sadio Mane remain sidelined though captain Jordan Henderson is expected to be recalled.

Daniel Sturridge can be backed at 7.0 (6/1) to get the first goal of the game with several bookmakers while Roberto Firmino can be backed at 7.5 (13/2) with Unibet.

Last season’s corresponding fixture ended all square with Liverpool winning the return fixture at Anfield, while the Reds also won when the sides met at their place in the League Cup twelve months ago.

All but one of the last meetings between the sides have seen fewer than three goals and you can back that outcome this time around at 2.3 (13/10) with Betfair while the same firm offer 1.57 (4/7) for both teams to score.
