The Premier League returns this weekend with proceedings getting underway at White Hart Lane on Saturday lunchtime where Tottenham Hotspur face Liverpool.

The hosts are currently on a seven game unbeaten run in the league, and go into the match on the back of a 2-2 draw at Swansea City – a result which kept them in eighth place.

Victory here will see them move into the top three and to within two points of leaders Manchester City, who host Bournemouth later in the day.

Danny Rose, who has played just once in the league so far this season, could feature though forward Heung-Min Son and midfield trio Ryan Mason, Nabil Bentaleb and Alex Pritchard are all out.

Harry Kane is favourite to open the scoring at 6.5 (11/2) while Christian Eriksen, who bagged a brace last time out, can be backed at 8.5 (15/2) with a variety of firms.

The home win can be backed at 2.5 (6/4) with a number of bookmakers, with the visitors widely available at 3.0 (2/1). The draw can be backed at a price of 3.5 (5/2).

Liverpool drew with Merseyside rivals Everton last time out – a result which spelt the end of Brendan Rodgers’ time in charge of the club.

Former Borussia Dortmund manager Jurgen Kloop is the new man in the hotseat, and he takes charge of a club who currently sit tenth in the table, one point behind this weekend’s opponents.

The new boss will be unable to call upon Joe Gomez and Danny Ings, who have both been ruled out long term with ACL injuries while Roberto Firminio, Christian Benteke, Jon Flanagan and captain Jordan Henderson are also unavailable.

Daniel Sturridge is 7.0 (6/1) to get the first goal of the game with Bet Victor while Adam Lallana is a 15.0 (14/1) shot with Betfair.
Liverpool have won each of the last five meetings between the sides, and four of those games included at least four goals.

With that in mind you may be tempted to take advantage of Bet Victor’s offer of 3.25 (9/4) for there to be four or more goals in the game this time around.
