Swansea v QPRHaving failed to defeat Crystal Palace at home at the weekend, Swansea will attempt to make things right when they host revived QPR.

The Rangers continued their uptrend in fortunes with a hard-fought triumph over Leicester City and they will be feeling confident ahead of the trip to Wales.

Swansea have been quite impressive under Gary Monk this season, climbing to the top half of the Premier League standings, although they have suffered a small dip in form of late.

However, that has a lot to do with the difficult fixture list, and while they suffered a narrow defeat to Manchester City, the Swans did well to bring one point from Goodison Park and defeat Arsenal at home.

The difficult run of fixtures seems to have left its mark on the team as Swansea could only muster a 1-1 draw with Crystal Palace at the weekend.

They will now see the QPR game as a perfect opportunity to return to winning ways, so bear in mind home win pays 1.75 (3/4).

It remains to be seen whether Gary Monk will decide to rest some of his starters against Rangers, but with five days until the next game, he might just opt to stick to the same starting eleven.

Federico Fernandez and Ashley Richards remain on the sidelines, but Nathan Dyer should be back in contention after missing the Crystal Palace game.

Probable starting line-up (4-2-3-1): Fabianski – Rangel, Bartley, Williams, Taylor – Ki, Shelvey – Routledge, Sigurdsson, Monterro – Bony.

For several weeks now, QPR have been raising their form and playing great football, but some very good displays were not always properly rewarded.

Apart from the home win over Aston Villa, Harry Redknapp’s side only put one more point on the board in seven Premier League fixtures, but they were always going to come good.

QPR were forced to work hard for the narrow win over fellow strugglers Leicester City, but the 3-2 triumph should act as a major confidence boost.

With Rangers now on the verge of leaving the Premier League bottom three and their next opponents not exactly on fire at the moment, there may be value in odds of 5.50 (9/2) offered on away win.

The visitors will have Richard Dunne back from suspension, but Yun Suk-Young is expected to miss out after suffering injury at the weekend.

At the same time, Rio Ferdinand, Alejandro Faurlin, Bobby Zamora, Sandro and Adel Taarabt are unavailable as well.

Probable starting line-up (4-4-2): Green – Isla, Dunne, Caulker, Traore – Kranjcar, Barton, Henry, Fer – Austin, Vargas.
