LIverpool vs SwanseaHaving given a good account of themselves in the 3-2 defeat to Tottenham, Swansea will have something to build on when they host top 4 hopefuls Liverpool.

The Reds will be looking to make it five wins on the bounce at Liberty Stadium and further improve their chances of clinching Champions League qualification.

Swansea have done a tremendous job ever since they gained promotion to the Premier League, having quickly established themselves as a top table side.

It was an unlikely hero Gary Monk who helped the Swans recover from a disappointing start last season and he has since proved his managerial credentials.

As a result, Swansea again sit pretty in the top half of the standings, and appear to be in a very good form at the moment as well.

The Swans recorded back to back wins over Manchester United and Burnley to cement a top 10 position before suffering a narrow defeat to high-flying Spurs at White Hart Lane.

Gary Monk’s charges will now attempt to outclass another top 4 contender, and they can be backed at 4.20 (16/5) to emerge victorious.

Bafetimbi Gomis is unlikely to start having fainted at White Hart Lane, while Kyle Bartley remains on the sidelines.

Probable starting line-up (4-4-2 diamond): Fabianski – Naughton, Fernandez, Williams, Taylor – Ki, Cork, Shelvey, Sigurdsson – Oliveira, Routledge.

While they experienced all sorts of problems in the opening exchanges, Liverpool have been absolutely amazing in the second part of the season.

Brendan Rodger’s change in style of play worked like a charm as it allowed the Reds to play to their full potential and it is only a matter of time before the Anfield outfit climbs to Premiership top 4.

This could very well happen this weekend seeing as their rivals for Champions League berths Man Utd and Tottenham square off at Old Trafford.

Meanwhile, Liverpool are available at 2.05 (21/20) to defeat Swansea on the road and make it five wins on the trot.

There have been more good news for Brendan Rodgers this weekend as youngster Jon Flanagan made a long-awaited return from injury, although he remains out of contention.

The likes of Steven Gerrard, Joe Allen, Martin Skrtel and Mamadou Sakho have all been passed fir for the trip to Liberty Stadium.

Probable starting line-up (3-4-2-1): Mignolet – Can, Skrtel, Sakho – Sterling, Henderson, Allen, Moreno – Lallana, Coutingo – Sturridge.
