Sunday afternoon’s Premier League football concludes in South Wales as Swansea City welcome Tottenham Hotspur to the Liberty Stadium.

Garry Monk’s side lost at fellow surprise package West Ham United last time out, and sit in eighth place following yesterday’s results.

Three points here would see them move to within a point of the top five while defeat would see their opponents leapfrog them while Liverpool could also over take them if they beat Manchester United.
The hosts will have Gerhard Tremmel in goal following Lukasz Fabianski’s red card last weekend while Neil Taylor returns from his suspension though Tom Carroll is ineligible.

Wilfried Bony, who has scored more Premier League goals this calendar year than anyone else, is favourite to net first at 5.5 (9/2) with a variety of firms, with former Spurs man Glyfi Sigurdsson a 9.0 (8/1) chance.

The home win is widely available at 2.4 (7/5) with the visitors as highly priced as the 3.5 (5/2) on offer from Sky Bet. The draw is a 3.25 (9/4) chance with Bet 365.

Mauricio Pochettino’s men are without a win, or a goal in their last three games in all competitions having lost 1-0 to Besiktas in Europe on Thursday evening while they were held to a goalless draw by Crystal Palace last weekend.

Several fringe players were given an opportunity in Turkey midweek, and whilst the likes of Ben Stambouli and Paulinho were impressive in defeat a number of first team players are set to be recalled.

Kyle Walker is fit enough to be considered for selection though Emmanuel Adebayor is out for personal reasons so either Roberto Soldado or Harry Kane will lead the line.

Soldado is 7.5 (13/2) to open the scoring with Bet 365, with Christian Eriksen an 11.0 (10/1) shot with the same firm.

Spurs have won each of their last five meetings with Swansea though they have lost the last three matches they have played directly after away matches in the Europa League so you may want to take advantage of Ladbrokes’ offer of 1.7 (7/10) for both teams to score in the game.
