Soccer - Barclays Premier League - Stoke City v Everton - Britannia Stadium

The weekend’s Premier League action kicks off at the Liberty Stadium where Swansea City face Everton.

Garry Monk’s side have won four of their past six league games, and sit firmly in eighth place going into the final seven matches of the season.

They beat struggling Hull City last time out, and another win here will see them surpass their best ever Premier League points tally, which currently stands at forty-seven – the amount they accumulated last season.

Jefferson Montero faces a late fitness test ahead of the game, while Tom Carroll and Kyle Naughton are both out, with the later side-lined for the rest of the season following a challenge from David Meyler last weekend.

Bafetimbi Gomis, who bagged a brace last time out is favourite to open the scoring at 7.0 (6/1) with a variety of firms, while Gylfi Sigurdssson can be backed at 9.0 (8/1).

The home win is 2.55 (31/20) with Bet Victor, with the visitors as highly priced as the 3.1 (21/10) on offer from Betfred, who have the draw at 3.3 (23/10).

Having recently gone through a run which saw them win just once in twelve league games, the Toffees have taken maximum points from their last three to move them eleven points clear of the relegation zone.

Darron Gibson, Bryan Oviedo and Tony Hibbert are all definitely out, while Aiden McGeady and top scorerxqw Romelu Lukaku are also unlikely to feature.

Arouna Kone is 8.5 (15/2) to get the first goal of the game with Stan James, ahead of Kevin Mirallas who can be backed at 10.0 (9/1) with the same firm.

The sides cancelled each other out on Merseyside back in November, while it was the Swans who ran out winners when they met in the League Cup third round – their first ever victory over Everton.

Prior to that 0-0 at Goodison Park, the previous four meetings between the sides have featured at least three goals, so you may be tempted to back there being over 2.5 this time around at 2.15 (23/20) with a number of bookmakers.
