Arsene-Wenger_1The weekend’s Premier League action concludes at the Liberty Stadium where Swansea City host and Arsenal side who began the weekend just two places above them in the table.

Garry Monk’s side have lost just one of their last five league games, with last weekend’s point at Everton lifting them up to sixth place and a win here would see them leapfrog Arsenal, and could even see them move into the top four at the expense of West Ham United, who were held by Aston Villa on Saturday afternoon.

Jonjo Shelvey missed the game through suspension after being dismissed at Goodison Park while Jordi Amat and Dwight Tiendalli could both feature after returning to training following respective knee and groin problems.

Top scorer Wilfried Bony is 7.0 (6/1) to open the scoring with most firms, with Gylfi Sigurdsson a 11.5 (21/2) chance with Bet Victor.

The home win is as highly priced as the 3.65 (45/17) on offer from 888 Sport, with the visitors widely available at 2.2 (6/5) and the draw easily found at 3.5 (5/2).

Arsene Wenger’s side are unbeaten in their last five games in all competitions, but they had to settle for a point in their Champions League tie with Anderlecht on Tuesday evening despite leading 3-0 on the hour mark.

Jack Wilshere, who missed the midweek game and last weekend’s 3-0 win over bottom of the table Burnley is available while Theo Walcott could start for the first time since January though captain Mikel Arteta is out with a hamstring injury.

Alexis Sanchez, who grabbed his tenth of the season last time out is favourite to get the first goal of the game at 6.0 (5/1) with a number of bookmakers, with Aaron Ramsey a 7.5 (13/2) chance with Stan James.

The Gunners are unbeaten in their last five meetings with the Swans, and they have scored exactly two goals in four of those fixtures so may be tempted to back them to do so this time around at 3.9 (29/10) with Bet Victor while the away win to nil is 3.8 (14/5) with Coral.
