Sunday’s Premier League action kicks off at the Stadium of Light where Sunderland take on Arsenal.

The Black Cats won for the first time in five last time out putting three past fellow strugglers Norwich City, and they could climb out of the bottom three at the expense of the Canaries who don’t play this weekend, should they avoid defeat here.

Jack Rodwell and Fabio Borini are both available for selection though DeAndre Yedlin in a doubt with an ankle injury and Jermain Lens is struggling with a virus.

Jermain Defoe is priced at 8.0 (7/1) to get the first goal of the game with Betfair ahead of Dame N’Doye who is a 10.0 (9/1) chance with Paddy Power.

The home win is as highly priced as the 4.85 (56/19) on offer from 888 Sport with the visitors widely available at 1.8 (4/5). The draw can be backed at 4.0 (3/1) with a number of firms.

The Gunners, who beat Crystal Palace on Thursday evening simply must win to keep alive their slim hopes of winning a first Premier League title in twelve years though even if they do a victory for Leicester City in Sunday’s other game will end their chances.

They go in to the weekend four points clear of fifth place Manchester United who are in FA Cup action on Saturday while both West Ham United and Liverpool will still fancy their chances of breaking into the top four.

Jack Wilshere could play for the first time this season after recovering from a broken leg though the game comes to soon for Santi Cazorla and Tomas Rosicky, despite the pair both returning to training this week.

Olivier Giroud, Danny Welbeck and Alexis Sanchez can all be backed at 6.0 (5/1) to open the scoring with Bet Victor.

The sides have already met twice this season, with both meetings ending in 3-1 wins for Arsene Wenger’s side at the Emirates Stadium and you can back over 3.5 goals this time around at a price of 3.0 (2/1) with William Hill.
