Monday evening’s Premier League action comes from Britannia Stadium where Stoke City host Tottenham Hotspur.

Mark Hughes’ side sit in ninth place following the weekend’s results and would close the gap on fifth place Manchester United to six points should they win here.

They go into the game on the back of last weekend’s 4-1 defeat to Liverpool, with their victory at Watford a month ago their only triumph in their last five outings.

Erik Pieters is suspended and possible replacement Marc Muniesa is doubtful though Marko Arnautovic and Glenn Whealen could both return after recovering from their respective knocks.

Arnautovic is priced at 10.0 (9/1) to get the first goal of the game, ahead of Bojan who is an 11.0 (10/1) chance with Bet 365.

The home win is widely available at 5.5 (9/2) with the visitors as highly priced as the 1.73 (8/11) on offer from William Hill. The draw can be backed at 4.1 (31/10) with Bet 365.

Three quick-fire second half strikes were enough to see Maurico Pochettino’s side ease past Manchester United last time out, and that was their ninth victory in twelve league games.

They have lost just once in that run, and sit eight points behind leaders Leicester City after the Foxes drew with West Ham United on Sunday afternoon.

Top scorer Harry Kane has recovered from a dead leg so is expected to once again lead the line and Clinton Njie is fit again though Nabil Bentaleb misses out with a knee problem.

Kane is 5.0 (4/1) to open the scoring with a number of firms ahead of fellow England international Dele Alli, who can be backed at 7.5 (13/2) with several bookmakers.

The two sides played out a 2-2 draw at White Hart Lane back in August, and that was the fifth time in the last six meetings that have produced at least three goals.

You can back there being over 2.5 this time around at 1.91 (10/11) while Stan James offer a price of 1.9 (9/10) for both teams to score.
