Premier League side Stoke City have announced on their official website that they have completed the signing of Cameroon forward Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting.
The 28-year-old arrives on a free transfer after his contract with Bundesliga outfit Schalke had come to an end.
“Eric has been on our radar for several years and we actually tried to bring him to the club four years ago,” chief executive Tony Scholes said.
Choupo-Moting is club’s fourth recruit in the current transfer window, following in the footsteps of Darren Fletcher, Josh Tymon and Kurt Zouma.
The experienced winger spent entire career up to date in Germany, representing Hamburger SV, Nurnberg, Mainz and Schalke.
During a three-year spell with the MIners, Choupo-Moting managed 22 goals and 18 assists in 106 competitive fixtures.
