Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand has revealed some interesting things that most of us didn’t know about life at Old Trafford.

The England international took part in a chat session with United fans, where he had to answer some very interesting questions.

Having spent nine years at Old Trafford, Ferdinand has played with all kinds of players and he was asked what his ideal five-a-side line-up would be.

“The best five-a-side team I can think of, made up of players I’ve played with, would be Paul Scholes, Cristiano Ronaldo, Wayne Rooney and Roy Keane. And me, of course.

“That team isn’t getting beaten. We don’t need a goalkeeper – we’d have the ball so much. Actually, I’d maybe pick Giggsy instead of Roy Keane. I can’t not have Giggsy in the team.”

He was later questioned who the best player is in the training.

“It was Scholesy. Now I’d say Chicharito – he’s quite difficult. His movement’s great, but I like that because he keeps you guessing and on your toes.

“He’s the toughest but also the most beneficial opponent in training because he keeps you match-sharp.”

Ferdinand also mentioned Anderson’s clothing style.

“Anderson wears the worst footwear. Some days he comes into training in a pair of slippers! He wears crazy-patterned stuff that not many of us would wear.”

Just like all other footballers, Manchester United stars are also mad about PlayStation and football game of FIFA.

“Me and Wayne play together and our record at the moment is W16 D1 L1.

“We were beaten by Fabio and Rafael. Nani and Kiko (Macheda) are like a married couple – they argue all the time. Me and Wayne are the top dogs though.”

All this speaks volumes about the good atmosphere in the squad, and with new signings Young, Jones and De Gea, United again look like one of the main candidates for the title. The Red Devils are 2.80 (9/5) with Paddy Power to defend the Premiership title.
