Redknapp praises ‘amazing’ Taarabt

Queens Park Rangers manager Harry Redknapp reserved special praise for midfielder Adel Taarabt after he had scored two goals in team’s first Premier League win of the season.

The highly rated Moroccan was in scintillating from as QPR tackled Fulham and capped off a magnificent performance with a brace.

Rangers boss Harry Redknapp, who had allowed Taarabt to join the Loftus Road outfit in the first place, was full of praise for the midfielder’s performance.

“It was one of the all-time great performances, I felt,” Redknapp said. “Every time he picked the ball up he did the most amazing things.

“Everything he did was top class and the goals were the icing on the cake.

“(The finish for the second goal) was amazing, to play it like he did in his stride… That is Adel. He has the ability to be anything he wants to be. He is an amazing talent.”

Taarabt has been in amazing form since the start of the season, scoring 4 goals and setting up another 2 in 13 Premier League appearances.

Despite top European clubs showing interest in his services, the midfielder is unlikely to leave Loftus Road before the summer, and he can now be backed at 5.00 (4/1) offered by BetVictor to be QPR’s top league goalscorer.
