The latest round of Premier League fixtures concludes at Loftus Road this evening where bottom of the table Queens Park Rangers face an Aston Villa side who sit six points and five places above them.

The hosts have taken just four points so far this season having lost six of their opening eight league matches, and they are currently five points from safety with both Leicester City and Crystal Palace sitting above the dotted line on nine.

Adel Taarabt will not play a part in the game, though his manager Harry Redknapp insists that that is due to the Morocco international having an illness, rather than anything to do with their recent dispute.

Nedum Onuha and Sandro will also miss out through injury, while Rob Green is set to return in goal after missing last week’s defeat to Liverpool.

Charlie Austin is joint favourite to get the first goal of the game at 7.0 (6/1) with a variety of firms, with Bobby Zamora widely available at a price of 8.0 (7/1).

The Hoops are favourites to take all three points, with Bet Victor offering a price of 2.4 (7/5), with the visitors as highly priced as the 3.4 (12/5) on offer from Coral. The draw can be backed at 3.3 (23/10) with Bet 365.

Having started the season in fine form, Paul Lambert’s side have somewhat slipped in recent weeks, with last weekend’s defeat to Everton their fourth in succession, and they have not scored a single goal in that time.

Philippe Senderos faces a late fitness test ahead of the game, while Christian Benteke is set to continue leading the line after making his first start since March at Goodison Park last time out.

The Belgium international, like QPR’s number nine, is 7.0 (6/1) to open the scoring with most firms, with Andreas Weimann a 10.5 (19/2) shot with Bet Victor.

However, no team in the division have scored fewer goals than Villa’s total of four, while Rangers themselves are next on the list with six, so you may be tempted to take advantage of 888 Sport’s offer of 3.15 (28/13) for there to be under 1.5 goals in the game, while the 0-0 is priced at 9.5 (17/2) with Coral.
