Premier League

Sunday’s Premier League action concludes at St James’s Park where Newcastle United take on Chelsea.

The North East side picked up their first point of the season last weekend after their goalless draw with Cardiff City.

Kenedy missed a stoppage time penalty in south Wales and the Brazilian midfielder will be absent from Rafa Benitez’s side this weekend as they face his parent club.

Christian Atsu could deputise against his former club though Jacob Murphy is also in contention while DeAndre Yedlin is set to return at right-back after recovering from a knee problem.

Salomon Rondon and Joselu can each be backed at 10.0 (9/1) to open the scoring with a variety of firms ahead of 11.0 (10/1) chance Ayoze Perez.

The home win is as highly priced as the 5.5. (9/2) on offer from some bookmakers with the visitors favourites at 1.7 (7/10). The draw is a 4.1 (31/10) chance with Betfair.

Maurizio Sarri’s men made it two wins from two by edging past Arsenal last time out – Marcos Alonso with the late winner after the Gunners had come from two goals down to draw level ahead of the break.

Eden Hazard could be handed a first start of the season after twice coming off the bench though Cesc Fabregas remains sidelined.

Alvaro Morata is favourite to get the first goal of the game at 5.5 (9/2) with Sky Bet with fellow Spaniard Pedro a 7.0 (6/1) chance with Unibet.

Last season’s corresponding fixture came just over three months ago on the final day of the campaign – the home side recording a surprise 3-0 win in Antonio Conte’s final league game in charge of the Blues.

The three clashes before that all came at Stamford Bridge and were all won by Chelsea to an aggregate score of 11-2.

You can back the away side to score at least three here at 3.3 (23/10) with Coral while the same firm offer a price of 1.75 (3/4) for there to be a goal scored in each half, as there has been in each of the last six times these sides have faced each other.
