The opening weekend of the Premier League concludes at Old Trafford on Sunday afternoon when Manchester United face West Ham United.

The hosts were victorious in two competitions last season lifting both the EFL Cup and the Europa League though they finished in sixth place in the league, seven points outside of the top four and twenty-four points behind champions Chelsea.

Manager Jose Mourinho could hand league debuts to all three of his new signings with Victor Lindelof, Nemanja Matic and Romelu Lukaku all vying for starting berths.

However Luke Shaw, Marcos Rojo and Ashley Young are all out with all three nursing long-term injuries.

Lukaku is favourite to get the first goal of the game with Bet Victor offering odds of 4.2 (16/5) with Marcus Rashford a 5.75 (19/4) chance with the same firm.

The home win is widely available at 1.33 (1/3) with the visitors as highly priced as the 12.0 (11/1) on offer from Bet 365, who have the draw at 5.75 (19/4).

The Hammers ended the 2016/17 campaign in eleventh place, finishing outside of the top half by virtue of goal difference with West Bromwich Albion pipping them in tenth.

Like their opponents, all of the visitors’ summer arrivals are available with Joe Hart set to start in goal behind Pablo Zabaletta, Marco Arnautovic and former Red Devil Javier Hernandez.

Last season’s Hammer of the Year Michail Antonio is misses out through injury, along with Manuel Lanzini, Cheikhou Kouyate, Andy Carroll and Diafra Sakho.

Hernandez is 15.0 (14/1) with Sky Bet to open the scoring against his old club, ahead of 17.0 (16/1) shot Andre Ayew while Arnautovic can be backed at the same price.

Last season’s corresponding league fixture ended in a 1-1 draw with Jose Mourinho’s side running out 2-0 winners at the London Stadium in January, having also beaten them at Old Trafford on route to winning the EFL Cup.

The five meetings prior to that result earlier this year saw both teams scoring in the game and you can back that outcome this time around at 2.23 (16/13) with Unibet.
