Man Utd vs QPRFirst win is long overdue for new Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal and the Dutchman certainly hopes to break the duck against QPR.

Rangers got off the mark by defeating Sunderland at Loftus Road and they are now looking to pour more misery on the Red Devils.

In spite of the hype surrounding the arrival of Louis van Gaal, the experienced boss hasn’t done much better than his predecessor David Moyes so far, even if the team obviously have a great deal of room for improvement.

Manchester United could take mere two points from first three Premier League fixtures, while the 4-0 League Cup defeat to MK Dons is in a league of its own.

And while many expected Louis van Gaal to reinforce the shaky back line, he instead splashed the cash on Radamel Falcao and Daley Blind, while Danny Welbeck and Tom Cleverley were allowed to move on.

Given the amount of attacking talent the manager now has at his disposal, his side can be trusted to defeat QPR, even if home win pays just 1.30 (3/10).

It remains to be seen whether deadline day signing Falcao will be handed his first start, but beat in mind the Colombian is 1.85 (17/20) to score anytime.

Marcos Rojo, Daley Blind and Luke Shaw are expected to make their first appearances for the club, but Phil Jones and Ashley Young are the latest casualties.

Probable starting line-up (4-3-1-2): De Gea – Rafael, Evans, Rojo, Shaw – Herrera, Blind, Di Maria – Rooney – Van Persie, Falcao.

Following a straight return to the Premier League, QPR’s main objective is obviously to avoid another drop and once again, the squad have been properly reinforced over the summer.

While Adel Taarabt returned to the side, the likes of Ferdinand, Caulker, Isla, Vargas, Fer, Kranjcar and Sandro all joined, with some of them set to feature for the first time against Manchester United.

The new season did not start well for QPR as they lost Premier League fixtures against Hull City and Tottenham while crashing out of the League Cup at the hands of Burton Albion.

They finally recorded the first win ahead of the international break, having defeated Sunderland at home and they can be backed at 4.00 (3/1) to avoid defeat at Old Trafford.

Niko Kranjcar and Sandro are likely to be handed their debuts, but key midfielder Joey Barton is doubtful with a hamstring problem.

Probable starting line-up (4-5-1): Green – Isla, Caulker, Ferdinand, Hill – Phillips, Fer, Sandro, Kranjcar, Hoilett – Austin.
