Premier League

Saturday’s Premier League action concludes at Old Trafford where Manchester United face Newcastle United.

The hosts are still sitting in second place in the division but are eight points behind leaders Manchester City after losing two of their last three league games.

There is every chance that that gap could have extended by the time this game kicks off, with Pep Guardiola’s side looking to extend their unbeaten start to the campaign when they travel to Leicester City earlier in the day.

The Red Devils could be boosted by the return of long term absentees Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Paul Pogba and Marcos Rojo though Phil Jones will miss out after picking up a thigh problem whilst on international duty with England.

Despite not scoring in his last seven club appearances, Romelu Lukaku is favourite to get the first goal of the game at 3.6 (12/5) with most firms, while Ibrahimovic can be backed at a price of 4.0 (3/1).

The home win is widely available at 1.3 (3/10) with the visitors as highly priced as the 14.5 (27/2) on offer from Unibet. The draw can be backed at 5.75 (19/4) with Bet 365.

Rafael Benitiez’s side suffered a fourth 1-0 defeat of the season last time out, with Bournemouth grabbing a late winner to take the points from their clash at St James’s Park a fortnight ago.

Victory here could see them move into the top eight, should other results fall in their favour though it would be just their second league win over Manchester United in thirty-three attempts.

Dwight Gayle is 13.0 (12/1) to open the scoring with several bookmakers, with Aleksander Mitrovic a 17.0 (16/1) chance with Bet 365.

Both of last season’s meetings between the sides ended in draws with the clash at Old Trafford ending 0-0 before a six-goal thriller in the North East back in January.

You can back both teams to score this time around at 2.45 (29/20) while you may prefer to bet on a home win not to nil, which is priced at 3.6 (13/5) with a number of firms.
