Sunday afternoon’s Premier League action concludes at Old Trafford where Manchester United and Manchester City, the top two teams in the division, go head to head.

The hosts go in to the game on the back of Tuesday evening’s come from behind win over CSKA Moscow while they are on a four game winning run in the league – the last of those victories coming at Arsenal last weekend.

Another win here would see Jose Mourinho’s men close the gap to at the top to five points, while defeat would surely all but end their hopes of clinching the title even at this early juncture given their rivals supreme form.

Paul Pogba will miss the game through suspension and Marouane Fellaini faces a late fitness test while Nemanja Matic will play despite a knock and Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Phil Jones are both in contention.

Romelu Lukaku is priced at 6.0 (5/1) to get the first goal of the game with a number of firms, with Ibrahimovic a 6.25 (21/4) chance with Unibet.

The home win is 3/4 (12/5) with a number of firms with the visitors favourites at 2.25 (5/4). The draw can be backed at 3.6 (13/5) with Betfred.

Pep Guardiola’s side lost for the first time this season midweek having been beaten by Shakhtar Donetsk in their final Champions League group game, though they had already secured qualification for the last sixteen.

In the league, their win over West Ham United last Sunday was their thirteenth in a row and a triumph here would equal the record set by Arsenal back in 2002.

Vincent Kompany faces a late fitness test ahead of kick-off while there is also a question mark over Fabian Delph who has been ill though David Silva should play after missing out midweek with a muscular issue.

Sergio Aguero and Gabriel Jesus can each be backed at 5.0 (4/1) to open the scoring with Raheem Sterling widely available at 7.5 (13/2).

Four of the last Manchester derbies have seen less than two goals, and you can back that to be the case this time around at 4.0 (3/1) with Betfair.
