Saturday afternoon’s match at Old Trafford sees fourth place Manchester United face fourth from bottom Hull City.

Louis van Gaal’s men beat Arsenal last time out to secure back to back wins for only the second time under the Dutchman’s stewardship, and moved back into the Champions League qualification places in the process.

They are unbeaten at home since their opening day defeat to Swansea City, and three points here would see them, if only temporarily close the gap on neighbours Manchester City in third place to two points.

Radamel Falcao and Marcos Rojo are expected to return from respective calf and shoulder problems in time to feature, though the absences of Jonny Evans, Phil Jones, Rafael and Daley Blind leaves the hosts desperately short at the back.

Captain Wayne Rooney, who has eight goals in his last ten games for club and country is 5.0 (4/1) with Bet 365 to get the first goal of the game, with Robin van Persie available at the same price with Paddy Power.

The home win is 1.33 (1/3) with most firms, with the visitors as highly priced as the 11.0 (10/1) on offer from a variety of firms. The draw is a 5.75 (19/4) chance with Bet 365.

Hull’s loss to Tottenham Hotspur at the KC Stadium on Sunday stretched their winless run to five games, and saw them slip to seventeenth place in the table.

They are just one point above the relegation zone, though victory here could see them rise all the way to twelfth place should other results fall in their favour.

Abel Hernandez will miss the game to attend the birth of his child in Uruguay, while Gaston Ramirez is suspended following his red card last time out.

Nikica Jelavic is at 13.0 (12/1) to open the scoring with Bet 365, ahead of 21.0 (20/1) shot Hatem Ben Arfa.

Five of the six previous meetings between the sides have seen at least four goals, so you may be tempted to take advantage of Bet Victor’s offer of 2.62 (13/8) for there to be over 3.5 this time around.
