Man Utd vs EvertonManchester United face a must-win game in midweek following yet another setback, but defeating in-form Everton will be no easy task.

The Toffees are brimming with confidence after hammering Stoke 4-0, and they arrive at Old Trafford looking to extend their unbeaten run to seven Premier League games.

This season is not exactly going according to plan for the Red Devils, although it appears David Moyes has steadied the ship after the dismal start to the season.

Injuries to star players Robin van Persie and Michael Carrick seem to have cost the team dearly over the last few weeks, with United slipping further behind leaders Arsenal due to back to back draws against Cardiff City and Tottenham Hotspur.

The Red Devils now face two tricky home ties against in-form Everton and Newcastle before travelling to Villa Park, and they are 1.75 (3/4) to see off the Toffees on Wednesday evening.

In the absence of RVP, Wayne Rooney has continued to score important goals and he is 2.63 (13/8) to get on the scoresheet once again.

Robin van Persie remains doubtful with toe and groin injuries, but Michael Carrick is injured and Phil Jones misses out through suspension.

Probable starting line-up (4-4-1-1): De Gea – Smalling, Evans, Vidic, Evra – Valencia, Cleverley, Fellaini, Nani – Kagawa – Rooney.

Everton were in similar position to their next opponents at the start of the season, with long-serving manager David Moyes moving to Old Trafford, but the Toffees have done brilliantly under Roberto Martinez.

While initially struggling to live up to the billing, the Goodison Park outfit have been pretty impressive of late, climbing to fifth place in the standings.

The most important thing is that the back line is again in full working order, having kept four clean sheets in last five games, while the team are again scoring goals for fun.

And with trips to Old Trafford and Emirates next, the Toffees will have another chance to prove they can mix it up with the best of them in the Premiership, with Everton 2.20 (6/5) not to lose to Manchester United.

Having impressed while deputizing for injured Leighton Baines, Bryan Oviedo is set to keep his place in the side, just like summer signing Gerard Deulofeu.

Meanwhile, Arouna Kone and Darron Gibson remain sidelined, whereas Ross Barkley might need to wait for his chance on the bench.

Probable starting line-up (4-2-3-1): Howard – Coleman, Jagielka, Distin, Oviedo – McCarthy, Barry – Deulofeu, Osman, Pienaar – Lukaku.
