All eyes will be on Old Trafford this evening as champions Manchester United meet Chelsea in the first heavyweight clash of the 2013/14 Premier League season.

The hosts go in to the game on the back of their opening day victory at Swansea, and will return to the top of the table if they take the points.

United manager David Moyes must decide whether or not to include striker Wayne Rooney against the club who are trying to sign him, while injured quartet Rafael, Nani, Ashley Young and Javier Hernandez are all set to miss out.

Robin Van Persie is favourite to get the first goal of the game at 6.0 (5/1) with Ladbrokes ahead of 9.5 (17/2) chance Danny Welbeck, while Rooney is intriguingly priced at 4.5 (7/2) with Sky Bet to score at any time.

United are favourites to win the match at 2.45 (29/10) with Bet Victor, who price Chelsea at 3.3 (23/10) while the draw is a 3.4 (12/5) shot with Betfred.

Jose Mourinho’s men currently sit in pole position after securing back to back wins in their first two games of the season, and are looking to start a campaign with three straight victories for the fourth time in five years.

The visitors will be without David Luiz, who has a hamstring problem though Romelu Lukaku may come in in attack,
The Belgian forward is 9.0 (8/1) with Ladbrokes to open the scoring, while Fernando Torres is available at the same price with the same firm.

The clubs met no less than five times last season, with Chelsea’s only defeat coming at Stamford Bridge back in October.

The corresponding league fixture finished 1-0 to the Blues at Old Trafford in May, though United had already secured the championship by the time the sides met.

Chelsea have actually won the last two meetings in all competitions by one goal to nil, though in recent seasons this fixture usually guarantees goals, so you may be tempted to take advantage of Bet Victor’s offer of 6.5 (11/2) that there will be at least five scored this time around.
