Sunday’s Premier League action concludes at the Etihad Stadium as league leaders Manchester City take on champions Chelsea.

The hosts have had fine week, first winning the EFL Cup after easing past Arsenal 3-0 at Wembley on Sunday before beating the same opposition by the same scoreline in the league four days later to reopen a sixteen point lead at the top.

Another victory here will see that gap widen even further with second place Manchester United not in action until Monday evening, when they travel to Crystal Palace.

Kyle Walker is a doubt for this game after being substituted on Thursday evening with a calf problem with Raheem Sterling also set to miss out along with Fernandinho while Fabian Delph completes his three-match suspension.

Top scorer Sergio Aguero is favourite to open the scoring with what would be his two hundredth goal for the club at 4.2 (16/5) with a number of firms, with Kevin De Bruyne a 10.0 (9/1) chance with Paddy Power.

The home win is widely available at 1.62 (8/13) with the visitors as highly priced as the 6.15 (67/13) on offer from Unibet who have the draw at 4.35 (57/17).

Antonio Conte’s men lost to Manchester United last weekend and go into the weekend in fifth place, two points behind fourth place Tottenham Hotspur and that gap could be bigger should the North London side beat Huddersfield Town on Saturday afternoon.

Tiemoue Bakayoko, Ethan Ampadu and David Luiz all remain out though Ross Barkley is available after missing the defeat at Old Trafford.

Alvaro Morata, who is looking for his first goal since Boxing Day can be backed at 9.0 (8/1) to get the first here with Paddy Power, with Eden Hazard priced at 8.5 (15/2) with several bookmakers.

De Bruyne got the only goal of the game as the two sides met at Stamford Bridge back in September though it was the Blues who triumphed when the sides faced off in Manchester last season.

The five meetings prior to that clash in early Autumn saw three or more goals and you can back that outcome this time around at 1.67 (4/6).
