Sunday afternoon’s Premier League action from the Etihad Stadium sees leaders Manchester City take on Arsenal.

The hosts extended their unbeaten start to the season to sixteen games in all competitions midweek by beating Napoli by four goals to two on Wednesday evening having maintained their five point advantage over neighbours Manchester United with victory at West Bromwich Albion last time out in the league.

Another triumph here would be their ninth in a row in the league and would equal a club record set seventy years ago, as well as piling more pressure on both the Red Devils and Chelsea who meet each other at Stamford Bridge later in the day.

Pep Guardiola has no fresh injury concerns but may chose to rotate his squad with Gabriel Jesus, David Silva and Kyle Walker all pushing for recalls to the starting line-up.

Sergio Aguero is favourite to open the scoring at 4.0 (3/1) with a variety of firms, with Jesus a 5.0 (4/1) chance with Sky Bet.

Coral have the home win at 1.5 (1/2) with the visitors as highly priced as the 7.5 (13/2) on offer from Betfred. The draw can be backed at 5.25 (17/4) with Bet 365.

Arsenal extended their unbeaten run to five games in all competitions midweek but only managed a goalless draw with Crvena Zvezda on Thursday evening though they have won back to back games in the league to keep them within touching distance of the top four.

Sead Kolasinac should be available after recovering from the hip injury that saw him substituted against Swansea City last weekend though Shkodran Mustafi, Santi Cazorla, Danny Welbeck and Calum Chambers are all out.

Olivier Giroud is 9.0 (8/1) to get the first goal of the game with several bookmakers with Alexis Sanchez a 10.0 (9/1) chance with Unibet.

Last season’s corresponding match ended in a 2-1 win for City with the sides playing out a 2-2 draw at the Emirates Stadium in the return fixture almost six months later and you can back both teams to score this time around at 1.57 (4/7) with Sky Bet.
