Sunday’s Premier League action concludes at the Etihad Stadium where champions Manchester City face FA Cup holders Arsenal.

Manuel Pellegrini’’s side are unbeaten in fourteen games in all competitions, winning eleven, and sit five points off the pace after league leaders Chelsea put five past Swansea City on Saturday afternoon.

Former Gunner Samir Nasri has been side-lined for three weeks with a calf problem, while Edin Dzeko is doubtful though Sergio Aguero and captain Vincent Kompany are likely to start after they both made the bench for last weekend’s 1-1 draw with Everton.

Top scorer Aguero is favourite to get the first goal of the game at 4.6 (18/5) with Betfair, with Frank Lampard priced at 10.0 (9/1) with the same firm.

The home win is widely available at 1.8 (4/5), with the visitors as highly priced as the 4.6 (18/5) on offer from Betfair. The draw is a 4.0 (3/1) chance with a variety of firms.

Arsene Wenger’s side beat Stoke City by three goals to nil last time out, and can reclaim fifth spot with victory after North London rivals Tottenham Hotspur displaced them by beating Sunderland on Saturday afternoon.

Both Mathieu Debuchy and Mikel Arteta have been ruled out for three months after undergoing surgery and Kieran Gibbs is a doubt with a heel injury though Calum Chambers should be fit enough to feature.

Alexis Sanchez can be backed at 7.5 (13/2) to open the scoring with a number of bookmakers, while Aaron Ramsey is a 16.0 (15/1) chance with 888 Sport.

The sides equally shared out four goals at the Emirates Stadium back in September, five weeks after the Gunners ran out 3-0 winners in the Community Shield at Wembley while last season’s corresponding fixture saw City win in a nine goal thriller.

With goals usually on the agenda when these two top four regulars lock horns, you may be tempted to take advantage of 888 Sport’s offer of 2.4 (7/5) for there to be four or more this time around while Ladbrokes price both teams to score at 1.57 (4/7).
