Saturday’s match at Anfield sees Liverpool face a West Ham United side who currently sit one place and one point above them in the Premier League.

The hosts are without a win in three, and go in to the game having crashed out of the League Cup after losing in extra time to Chelsea in the semi-final second leg at Stamford Bridge on Tuesday evening.

However, they have taken fourteen points from the last eighteen available in the league, and victory here will see them move to sixth place, should Spurs fail to win at West Bromwich Albion.

Reds boss Brendan Rodgers is set to welcome back star striker Daniel Sturridge, who has been out injured since September though Mamadou Sakho is doubtful with a back problem.

Sturridge is favourite to open the scoring at 5.0 (4/1) with a number of firms, with Raheem Sterling a 6.5 (11/2) chance with Bet Victor.

The home win is widely available at 1.7 (7/10), with the visitors as highly priced as the 5.75 (19/4) on offer from Bet 365. The draw is a 4.1 (31/10) shot with Bet Victor.

Sam Allardyce’s men are unbeaten in their last six, and have lost just two of their last thirteen games in all competitions.

Carl Jenkinson, Alex Song and James Tomkins should all be available despite being minor injury concerns this week, while Cheikhou Kouyate could feature after returning from the Africa Cup of Nations.

Andy Carroll is 11.0 (10/1) to open the scoring with Bet Victor, with top scorer Diafra Sakho available at the same price with the same firm.

The sides met at Upton Park back in September, with the Hammers running out 3-1 winners though they have not won at Anfield for over fifty years while last season’s corresponding fixture ended in a 4-1 triumph for the Merseyside club.

In fact, both teams have scored in this encounter on five of the last six occasions, and you can back that outcome here at 1.75 (3/4) with Ladbrokes, while the home win with both teams scoring is 3.35 (40/17) with 888 Sport.
