Liverpool vs Man Utd

Saturday’s Premier League action concludes at Anfield where in form Liverpool take on West Bromwich Albion.

The hosts are unbeaten in their last six games, winning four of those and go into this fixture one the back of Monday night’s goalless draw with Manchester United – a result which moved them to within two points of league leaders Manchester City.

A return to winning ways here will see them, if only temporarily overtake the table toppers though they will need both North London sides to drop points to if they are to have any chance of ending the day in first place.

Georginio Wijnaldum could return after missing Monday’s stalemate with a hip injury he sustained whilst on international duty while Adam Lallana could start.

Daniel Sturridge is favourite to open the scoring at 5.0 (4/1) with Paddy Power, with Philippe Coutinho a 6.0 (5/1) chance with the same firm.

The home win is priced at 1.33 (3/10) with Bet Victor with a variety of firms offering 13.0 (12/1) for an away victory. The draw can be backed at 6.0 (5/1) with a number of bookmakers.

The Baggies begin the weekend in twelfth place after last weeks draw with Tottenham Hotspur – their third straight 1-1 result.

Jonny Evans serves a one match suspension after collecting his fifth booking of the season last time out so Jonas Olsson could deputise.

Salomon Rondon is widely available at 13.0 (12/1) to get the first goal of the game, ahead of 15.0 (14/1) chance Saido Berahino.

Both of last season’s meetings between the sides ended all square with the corresponding fixture finishing 2-2 before they played out a 1-1 draw at The Hawthorns on the final day of the campaign.

You can back both teams to score this time around at 2.1 (11/10) with several companies while you may prefer to bet on a home win not to nil at 3.1 (21/10).

Alternatively, with only the top two teams in the league scoring more than Jurgen Klopp’s side, you might fancy the Reds to score at least three themselves at 2.15 (23/20) with Coral.
