Sunday afternoon’s game at Anfield sees Liverpool face Norwich City.

The hosts are without in win in four, having taken just one point from their last three league outings while they go in to the game on the back of Thursday evening’s 1-1 draw with Bordeaux in their Europa League opener.

Only bottom of the table Newcastle United have scored fewer goals than Brendan Rodgers’ side, who have hit the net just three times in the league.

The Reds will be without captain Jordan Henderson, who has been side-lined for up to eight weeks with a broken foot, while Joe Allen and Jon Flanagan also miss out though Daniel Sturridge and Kolo Toure may be fit in team to feature.

Christian Benteke, who scored a stunning overhead kick in last weekend’s 3-1 defeat to Manchester United, is favourite to net first here at 4.75 (15/4), with Daniel Sturridge a 5.0 (4/1) chance with a number of firms.

The home win is widely available at 1.67 (4/6), with the visitors as highly priced as 6.0 (5/1) of offer from several bookmakers. The draw can be backed at 40 (3/1).

Alex Neil’s side beat fellow new boys Bournemouth 3-1 last weekend, a result which moved them on to seven points and into the top half of the table – ahead of Liverpool on goal difference.

The Canaries have no fresh injuries, with Gary Hooper and Youssof Mulumbu their only absentees.

Cameron Jerome, who netted his first of the season last time out, is 10.5 (19/2) with 888 Sport to get the first goal of the game while Nathan Redmond can be backed at 21.0 (20/1) with Bet 365.

Liverpool have won the last five meetings between these two sides, scoring a total of twenty-one goals across those games – twelve of which coming from Luis Suarez – now at Barcelona.

You can back the Merseyside outfit to score three or more goals this time around at 3.3 (23/10) with Coral, while Bet Victor offer a price of 7.0 (6/1) for there to be five or more goals scored in the game as there has been on the last four occasions.
