Thursday afternoon’s Premier League action from Anfield sees last season’s runners-up Liverpool face bottom of the table Leicester City.

The two sides met just over four weeks ago, with goals from England duo Adam Lallana and Jordan Henderson, and former England skipper Steven Gerrard sealing the points for Brendan Rodgers men after a Simon Mignolet own goal had given the hosts the lead at the KP Stadium.

In the seven games since then, the Reds have lost just once in all competitions and go in to this match on the back of Monday evening’s 4-1 victory over Rodgers’ former club Swansea City.

Martin Skrtel is unavailable for the hosts as the Slovakian serves a suspension, so Kolo Toure is expected to deputise while captain Gerrard is expected to return having been rested earlier in the week.

Despite not scoring in the league since arriving at Anfield in the summer, Mario Balotelli is favourite to get the first goal of the game with Bet Victor offering a price of 5.0 (4/1) while Raheem Sterling is a 6.0 (5/1) shot with Bet 365.

The home win is priced at 1.44 (4/9) with Ladbrokes, with the away victory as highly priced as the 9.0 (8/1) on offer from Bet 365, who have the draw at 5.0 (4/1).

The Foxes ended a thirteen game winless run with victory over fellow strugglers Hull City on Sunday afternoon, and are now just three points behind the Tigers, who occupy seventeenth place.

Former Liverpool full-back Paul Konchesky is suspended and Andy King has a thigh injury though Jamie Vardy returns from his ban and Tom Lawrence could feature after returning from his loan at Rotherham United.

Top scorer Leonardo Ulloa is 11.5 (21/2) to open the scoring with Bet Victor, with David Nugent a 15.0 (14/1) chance with the same firm.

Leicester have failed to score in eight of their last fourteen games, so you may be tempted to back a home clean sheet at 2.2 (6/5) with Bet 365, while a Liverpool win to nil is priced at 2.55 (31/20) with Bet Victor.
