Saturday’s Premier League action kicks off at Anfield where Liverpool take on league leaders Chelsea.

The hosts go in to the game on the back of their narrow 1-0 defeat to Real Madrid in the Champions League on Tuesday evening, while last weekend they were beaten by the same score by resurgent Newcastle United.

Rodgers rotated his squad for the game at the Bernabeu and is set to recall a number of first team players to the starting including captain Steven Gerrard, Raheem Sterling, Philippe Coutinho, Jordan Henderson, Dejan Lovren and Mario Balottelli.

However, Daniel Sturridge remains side-lined along with Jon Flanagan, Mamadou Sakho, Suso and Jose Enrique.
Balotelli is 8.5 (17/2) to get the first goal of the game with Betfair, with Sterling a 10.0 (9/1) shot with Ladbrokes.

The home win and the draw are both best priced at 3.5 (5/2) with Betfred, with the visitors favourites at 2.38 (7/4) with Bet Victor.

Chelsea extended their unbeaten start to the season to sixteen games but were only able to draw against Maribor in their midweek European tie.

Last time out in the league, they edged past lowly Queens Park Rangers to remain four points clear at the top of the Premier League.

Top scorer Diego Costa is in line to start despite being left out of the Spain squad to recover from a persistent hamstring problem, while Jon Obi Mikel Loic Remy both return from respective knee and groin problems and Cesar Azpilicueta returns from suspension.

Costa is favourite to open the scoring at 5.2 (21/5) with 888 Sport ahead of Didier Drogba, who can be backed at 7.0 (6/1) with Betfair.

Chelsea won both meetings between the sides last season, securing a 2-1 victory at Stamford Bridge in December before their famous 2-0 win at Anfield in April.

Both teams have scored in six of their last eight clashes, so you may be tempted to back that outcome at 1.73 (8/11) with Bet Victor.

Alternatively, you may prefer to back an away win with both teams to score at a generous 4.5 (7/2) with a variety of firms.
