Saturday evening’s Premier League action concludes at Anfield where Liverpool take on Brighton and Hove Albion.

The hosts have started the season in fine form following up their opening day win over West Ham United with Monday evening’s 2-0 victory over Crystal Palace meaning they are the only side in the division yet to concede.

Manager Jurgen Klopp could decide to name an unchanged side for a third straight game with Dejan Lovren not yet fit and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain out for the season.

The Merseyside outfit are yet to confirm that Lorus Karius has joined Beskitas though that announcement is expected imminently.

Mo Salah is favourite to open the scoring at 3.2 (11/5) with Unibet with Sadio Mane, who has three goals in two games so far, a 5.5 (9/2) shot with Betfred.

Betfair priced the home win at 1.17 (1/6) with the visitors a 23.0 (22/1) chance with a variety of firms. The draw can be backed at 8.75 (31/4) with Unibet.

The Seagulls were many people’s tips for relegation ahead of the new season though they upset the odds to edge past Manchester United at the Amex Stadium last weekend.

Lewis Dunk picked up an injury and that came so will miss out here, as will club captain Bruno, Jose Izquierdo and Florin Andone.

Leon Balogun could make his debut, while Tomer Hemed has joined Queens Park Rangers on loan.

Glenn Murray is 14.0 (13/1) to get the first goal of the game with Unibet with Pascal Gross a 19.0 (18/1) chance with the same firm.

Liverpool ran riot in both meetings between these sides last season, winning 4-0 on Merseyside in the final game of last season five months after their 5-1 victory on the south coast.

Sky Bet offer 2.83 (13/8) for the Reds to score at least four this time around while Betfair offer 3.6 (13/5) for there to be five or more goals in total.

Alternatively as Liverpool have scored twice in the first half of their last three matches against this opposition you may be tempted to bet on them doing so once more at 2.38 (11/8) with Sky Bet.
