KloppLiverpool are set to complete the signing of Udinese midfielder Piotr Zielinski, according to reports from Poland.

Polish media outlet Przeglad Sportowy claim that the Premier League outfit have all but finalised negotiations with Zielinski’s representative and that the 21-ywar-old midfielder will sing a deal with the Reds during the week.

The player himself has dropped a huge hint regarding his future yesterday when he appeared on a TV show wearing a Liverpool shirt with his name on the back of it.

The Poland international has spent the season on loan at Empoli where he has largely impressed during the Serie A season. The 21-year-old has made 35 league appearances scoring five goals in the process.

Udinese sporting director Cristiano Giaretta has already confirmed contact from Liverpool representatives last month, with an offer reportedly worth £12 million having been submitted.

Reports from England add that Jurgen Klopp’s assistant Zeljko Buvac has personally scouted Piotr Zielinski on several occasions for over a year and that Liverpool manager is willing to go beyond the Transfer Committee as he trusts Buvac’s judgement on the 21-year-old midfielder.

Piotr Zielinski is poised to become Liverpool’s third signing as the Premier League outfit have already signed Schalke defender Joel Matip on a pre-contract agreement and Red Star midfielder Marko Grujic, who has been signed in January. The young Serbian will officially arrive in pre-season having spent second part of the season back in Belgrade as a loaned player.

Reds have finished the Premier League season this weekend and are getting ready for their final match of the year with the Champions League berth at stake. Liverpool will play against Sevilla in the UEFA Europa League final on Wednesday in Basel and are standing at the odds of 2.45 (16/11) @888sport to lift the coveted trophy.
