The final game of matchday sixteen in the Premier League sees this season’s surprise package Leicester City face champions Chelsea.

The Foxes began the weekend on top of the division after an incredible run of form which has seen them lose just one of their fifteen games so far.

They are unbeaten in eight – winning six of those ties with the latest of those triumphs coming at Swansea City last week, with Riyad Mahrez grabbing the headlines with a hat-trick.

The hosts’ only injury concerns are Matt James and Richie De Laet, who are both out until the New Year with respective knee and ankle injuries.

Top scorer Jamie Vardy is favourite to open the scoring at 6.5 (11/2) with Bet Victor, with Mahrez a 10.0 (9/1) chance with Bet 365.

The home win is generously priced at 3.2 (11/5) with Bet Victor, with the visitors favourites at 2.38 (11/8) with a number of firms. The draw can be backed at 3.6 (13/5) with Bet 365.

Jose Mourinho’s side beat Porto to seal their qualification to the knockout stages of the Champions League on Wednesday evening, but suffered yet another shock defeat in the league last weekend.

Bournemouth were the latest team to get one over the Blues, and Eddie Howe’s side who are among the favourites to be relegated, moved above the champions after beating Manchester United in Saturday’s late kick-off.
Mourinho’s only injury concern is Radamel Falcao, who is out with a muscular injury.

Top scorer Diego Costa is priced at 7.0 (6/1) to get the first goal of the game with the Paddy Power, with Eden Hazard an 8.0 (7/1) chance with the same firm.

Chelsea have won the last eight clashes between the sides, a run that includes the 3-1 triumph in last season’s corresponding fixture.

Five of the last seven meetings have produced at least four goals, so you may be tempted to back that outcome this time around at 3.4 (12/5) with a number of companies.

Alternatively, with both teams form considered you might prefer to back Claudio Ranieri’s side to win with both teams scoring in the game at 6.0 (5/1) with Betfair.
