Alexis SanchezHaving lost Alvaro Morata to Real Madrid, who decided to exercise a buy-back option for the talented Spain striker, Serie A champions Juventus have set their sights on finding a proper replacement.

The Old Lady are believed to be keen on Everton forward Romelu Lukaku, but Arsenal striker Alexis Sanchez is regarded as more cost effective option and Italian daily Tuttosport report that Juventus have identified the Chile ace as their top priority for the summer transfer window.

Arsene Wenger is not keen on selling his prized asset after a disappointing season which left Gunners without a major trophy once again and Frenchman is eager to hold on to his key players and bolster the lines in order to strengthen his team for next season.

Borussia Monchengladbach midfielder Granit Xhaka has already signed for the London-based club, but Arsenal have failed with their bid for Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy.

Alexis Sanchez has had an erratic season with Arsenal and it is believed that the 27-year-old striker could consider leaving the Emirates during the summer transfer window. Chile international publicly criticised his teammates’ lack of hunger last season and is believed to be considering his options.

According to various reports, Sanchez is tired of living in London and would love to move back to Italy where he made a name for himself while playing for Serie A outfit Udinese. Arsenal are ready offer their star player a new contract and it remains to be seen if Sanchez would reject the option to extend his stay at the Emirates.

The 27-year-old played 30 Premier League games for Arsenal last season, contributing with 13 goals during that time.

Currently on Copa America Centenario duty where he’s helped Chile reach the final with his 100th cap for the national team, centurion Sanchez will only see his value rise during summer.

Chile seeks their second Copa America title in two years and Alexis Sanchez is once again playing a key role in La Roja’s march to the trophy.

Alexis Sanchez and his Chile teammates are facing Argentina on Monday and are looking at the betting odds of 5.2 (21/5) @BetVictor to stun La Albiceleste.
