Jack WilshereDaily Mirror has suggested that Jack Wilshere could be out for longer than it was initially predicted as his recovery from a foot injury.

The Arsenal midfielder suffered a broken foot in an international friendly against Denmark and he was initially expected to miss around six weeks of action.

However, with the player still wearing a protective boot some two weeks after the injury, it appears he might be out longer than predicted.

There are no doubts Wilshere will be sorely missed as Arsenal have some important games coming up, and it remains to be seen if he will return before the season ends.

Taking into account his previous injury record, it would appear as though the player’s place in England World Cup squad is also in doubt.

Arsenal managed to close the gap behind Premier League leaders Chelsea as they won the North London derby against Tottenham, with the Gunners priced at 15.00 (14/1) to lift the league title.
