Hull City vs Fulham

Sunday afternoon’s game at the KC Stadium sees Hull City face Manchester United, with the hosts desperate for the points if they are to have any hope of retaining their Premier League status for next season.

Steve Bruce’s men have won just two of their last eleven games – a run that has seen them slip into the bottom three where they are two points behind seventeenth place Newcastle United.

Only victory will give them any chance of survival, though they will also need John Carver’s side to fail to beat West Ham United.

If Newcastle lose, Hull can guarantee staying up with victory while a draw for the Magpies at St James’ Park will also be welcomed by the Tigers, who have a superior goal difference.

Hull have no fresh injury concerns, with long term absentees Curtis Davies, Robert Snodgrass, Mo Diame and Gaston Ramirez those unavailable.

Dame N’Doye is 9.0 (8/1) to get the first goal of the game with Coral, with Nikica Jelavic available at the same price with the same firm.

The home win can be backed at 3.3 (23/10) with Bet Victor, with the visitors favourites at 2.25 (5/4) with the same company. The draw is a 3.75 (11/4) chance with Bet 365.

Louis van Gaal’s side drew with Arsenal last time out to all but end their hopes of finishing the season in third place.

Victory for United coupled with a defeat for the Gunners, who host West Bromwich Albion, would see them move level on points with the North London side, though they would need a seven goal swing with Arsene Wenger’s side having a better goal difference.

David De Gea may have already played his last game for the club with the Spaniard, who is strongly linked with a move to Real Madrid, having hobbled off last time out so Victor Valdes is ready to deputise.

Wayne Rooney and Jonny Evans are in a race to be fit in time to feature, though full-back duo Rafael and Luke Shaw are definitely out.

Robin van Persie is favourite to open the scoring at 6.5 (11/2) with Bet 365 with Radamel Falcao a 7.0 (6/1) chance with the same firm.

Hull have lost all of their previous seven meetings with United, and Steve Bruce has never got the better of his old club in seventeen years as a manager.

However, with the stakes never higher for the Humberside club, you may fancy backing the home win with both teams to score at 6.0 (5/1) with Bet 365.
