Hull vs West HamHull City made a giant step towards the Championship final thanks to an impressive 3-0 triumph at iPro Stadium and they can be trusted to finish the job at their KC Stadium.

The Rams are in all sorts of problems after conceding the third deep into injury time, and overturning a three-goal deficit appears to be mission impossible.

Hull City did a great job to keep most first team regulars after suffering relegation to the Championship and they are now reaping the rewards of such approach.

The Tigers were unable to secure an automatic promotion to the Premier League, but they performed really well during the season finale.

Even so, Hull City were in for a tough task against very good Derby County side, but they turned on the style to record a 3-0 win in the first leg.

Granted, the Tigers probably did not deserve to win by such a big margin, but they obviously will have no objections to the result.

All that’s left to do is finish the job at the KC Stadium, and Hull City can be backed at 2.20 (6/5) to win the return match as well.

Eldin Jakupovic will continue to deputise for Allan McGregor, while there are unlikely to be any changes to the starting line-up.

Probable starting line-up (4-4-1-1): Jakupovic – Odubajo, Dawson, Davies, Robertson – El Mohamady, Livermore, Huddlestone, Snodgrass – Diame – Hernandez.

Having missed quite a few opportunities to gain promotion to the Premier League in recent years, Derby County are in danger of being branded perennial underachievers.

The Rams have been very close to promotion places in each of the last three seasons, but, as things stand now, they will again miss out on the top prize.

Oddly enough, Derby County enjoyed plenty of possession in the first match against Hull, but they were punished for some defensive mistakes and now face a mountain to climb.

The Rams have done pretty well on the road of late, defeating Charlton Athletic and Bristol City before sharing spoils with Brighton, but they haven’t won a single away game by a three-goal margin this term.

This is enough to suggest that overturning a three-goal deficit is likely to prove impossible task, although the visitors will give their best to keep their slim hopes alive.

Key midfielder George Thorne continues to miss out with a broken leg, while Jeff Hendrick and Jacob Butterfield are pushing for starting places.

Probable starting line-up (4-3-3): Carson – Christie, Keogh, Shackell, Olsson – Bryson, Butterfield, Hughes – Russell, Martin, Ince.
