Robson-KanuPremier League newcomers Hull City have moved to confirm they are interested in signing Wales star Hal Robson-Kanu.

The experienced forward is a free agent after leaving Reading, but he has received numerous offers from around the world following an impressive showing for the Dragons at the Euro 2016 finals.

Hull City manager Steve Bruce has confessed they are set to open talks with Robson-Kanu in the coming days as they hope to give themselves the best chance of surviving the upcoming Premier League campaign.

“We are booked in for talks with him and to see him in the next few days. Do we intend to offer him a deal? Yes,” Bruce told BBC Radio Humberside.

“I think Hal is a good age, has had a sort of re-birth if you like, of playing through the middle, because before that he has played wide most of the time.

“He is big, strong, powerful, quick and somebody who runs the other way, in football terms.

“I know we have got competition, so let’s see what we can do.”

Hal Robson-Kanu scored twice for Wales at the Euro 2016 finals and his strike against Belgium was voted the Goal of the Tournament.

His suitors Hull City face a battle on their hands in an attempt to avoid another relegation and they can be backed at 2.00 (1/1) to avoid the drop.
