Wilshere EnglandEngland manager Roy Hodgson has suggested that Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere is not guaranteed a place in the Euro 2016 squad.

The Three Lions have all but secured their place at the tournament finals having won their first five qualifiers, with the Arsenal hotshot starting four games before missing the Lithuania clash through injury.

But, with Michael Carrick and Fabian Delph impressing in his absence, Hodgson has made it clear that Wilshere needs to fight for his place in the team.

“You (the media) made Jack Wilshere our best man in our matches in the autumn and I am sure he will have something to say,” Hodgson told reporters.

“But I have always been an admirer of Michael’s and am delighted to see him back. If both of them are fit I might have to a) find some way of tweaking the formations, or b) pick one of them. That’d be tough.”

Following some strong performances at the start of the qualifying campaign, England are available at 13.00 (12/1) shot to lift the coveted title at the Euro 2016.
