Sunday afternoon’s Premier League action kicks off at Goodison Park where Everton take on West Ham United.

The Toffees went in to the weekend in sixth place, just four points off the top four despite stringing together a run of four games without a win.

Having drawn their previous two games 1-1 they feel to a defeat at Burnley last weekend with Scott Arfield’s stoppage time strike sealing the points for Sean Dyche’s side.

Leighton Baines and James McCarthy both have hamstring problems and will miss out along with Matthew Pennington, Tylas Browning, Darron Gibson and Muhamed Besic while Enner Valenica is ineligible.

Top scorer Romelu Lukaku is favourite to open the scoring at 4.5 (7/2) with Ross Barkley a 7.5 (13/2) chance with a variety of firms.

The home win can be backed at 1.83 (5/6) with the visitors as highly priced as the 4.75 (15/4) on offer from Bet Victor. The draw is 3.9 (29/10) with Sky Bet.

Having recently lost four league games in a row, the Hammers have taken seven points from the last nine available and go into this fixture on the back of Wednesday evening’s win over Chelsea in the EFL Cup.

Last weekend’s win over bottom of the table Sunderland saw Slaven Bilic’s side rise to fifteenth place and another three points here could see them move into the top half should other results also fall in their favour.

Record signing Andre Ayew could start having made only his second appearance for the club midweek though fellow forwards Andy Carroll and Diafra Sakho are among those sidelined.

Ayew is 11.0 (10/1) to get the first goal of the game with a number of bookmakers, as are Dimitri Payet and Michail Antonio.

West Ham won last season’s corresponding fixture by three goals to two in March with the sides having played out a 1-1 draw in the capital almost a year ago.

Both teams have scored in each of the last eight encounters and you can back that outcome this time around at 1.72 (8/11) with Ladbrokes.
