The final match of matchday twenty in the Premier League sees Everton play Tottenham Hotspur at Goodison Park.

The hosts began the weekend nine points of their opponents, who currently occupy fourth place, after winning just one of their past five league fixtures.

A return to winning ways here will keep Roberto Martinez’s side among the large clutch of sides who are pushing for a European qualification places though defeat could see them end the weekend just six points above the bottom three.

James McCarthy is set to miss out after suffering a recurrence of a hip problem in Monday’s defeat to Stoke City while captain Phil Jagielka is closing in on a return but this game is set to come just too soon for him.

The division’s joint top scorer Romelu Lukaku is priced at 5.5 (9/2) to get the first goal of the game with a number of firms ahead of Ross Barkley, who is a 10.0 (9/1) shot with Stan James.

The home win is widely available at 2.8 (9/5) with the visitors favourites at 2.63 (13/8). The draw can be backed at 3.6 (13/5) with Bet Victor.

Spurs have won their last three Premier League games to move them to within four points of first place and leading to discussions of whether or not they can be genuinely considered as title challengers.

Mousa Dembele is set to miss around three weeks with a groin injury while fellow midfielders Alex Prtichard and Clinton Njie also miss out.

Harry Kane is 5.5 (9/2) to open the scoring, with Son Heung-Min a 9.0 (8/1) chance with Stan James.

The North London side are unbeaten in their last six meetings with the Toffees, with their match at White Hart Lane ending goalless back in August.

Mauricio Pochettino’s side ended last season with a 1-0 win on Merseyside in last season’s corresponding fixture and you can back another away win to nil here at 5.25 (17/4) with Bet Victor.

Alternatively, with so much goal-scoring talent on display you may be tempted to bet on both teams to score at 1.65 (13/20) with Betfair.
