Sunday’s Premier League action concludes on Merseyside as Everton welcome Manchester City to Goodison Park.

Everton have enjoyed an unbeaten start to the campaign, taking four points from their opening two games.

They drew with newly promoted Watford on the opening day of the season before thumping Southampton at St Mary’s last weekend and they could leapfrog their opponents with victory here.

Muhamed Besic and Kevin Mirallas may feature after being unused substitutes following their return from injury a week ago, while Aiden McGeady is also available for selection.

Manager Roberto Martinez has insisted that he has no qualms in selecting John Stones, despite the centre-back being strongly linked with a big money move to Chelsea.

Romelu Lukaku, who bagged a brace last time out is 9.0 (8/1) to open the scoring with Paddy Power ahead of Ross Barkley, who is a 15.0 (14/1) chance with the same firm.

The home win is widely available at 5.0 (4/1), with the visitors favourites at 1.75 (3/4) with a variety of firms. The draw cane be backed at 4.1 (31/10) with 888 Sport.

Manuel Pellegrini’s side sit top of the pile after two games, having beaten both West Bromwich Albion and champions Chelsea 3-0 thus far.

They have now won their last eight Premier League fixtures, and have kept clean sheets in six of those victories.

New signing Nicolas Otamendi is likely to be among the substitutes and midfield duo Fernando and Fabian Delph are also in contention though Paolo Zabaletta is set to miss up to a month with a knee problem.

Sergio Aguero is favourite to open the scoring at 4.5 (7/2) with a number of firms with Yaya Toure a 9.0 (8/1) chance with Bet 365.

City have won on just one of their last six visits to Goodison Park, with last season’s corresponding fixture finishing in a 1-1 draw back in January.

However, with the visitors in such sublime form you may be tempted to back an away win with both teams scoring in the match at 3.35 (40/17) with 888 Sport.
