Wednesday evening’s Premier League fixture at Goodison Park sees top-four chasing Everton face a Crystal Palace side looking for three points that will all but secure their top-flight status for next season.

The hosts go in to the game on the back of a club record seven straight league victories, the latest of which coming at Sunderland on Saturday afternoon.

Those three points saw the Toffee’s leapfrog Arsenal into fourth place, though the Gunners returned to that position after beating West Ham United at the Emirates Stadium yesterday evening though with this game in hand Roberto Martinez’s men’s destiny is very much in their own hands.

Club captain Phil Jagielka remains out with a hamstring injury, so John Stones will continue in the centre of defence, while Steven Pienaar is side-lined with a knee problem.

Top scorer Romelu Lukaku is favourite to get the first goal of the game at a price of 5.0 (4/1) with Coral, with Kevin Mirallas a 7.0 (6/1) shot with the same firm.

The home win is widely available at 1.4 (2/5), with Palace as highly priced as the 11.0 (10/1) on offer from Bet 365, who have the draw at 5.0 (4/1).

Tony Pulis’ men beat Aston Villa 1-0 last time out to secure a third straight top-flight victory for the Eagles for the first time in almost twenty years.

They currently sit in twelfth place; seven points clear of the bottom three and will move above West Ham if they avoid defeat here.

Kagisho Dikgacoi and Yannick Bolasie will both face fitness tests ahead of the game, with Tom Ince on stand-by should the latter be deemed unfit.

Marouane Chamakh is 15.0 (14/1) to open the scoring with 888 Sport with Jason Puncheon, who has scored three in his two games, a 19.0 (18/1) chance with Bet 365.

With these sides boasting two of the meanest defences in the division, it is no surprise that they played out a goalless draw at Selhurst Park back in November, and you may be tempted to back there to be fewer than two goals in this game at 3.8 (14/5) with Bet Victor.
