Saturday’s Premier League action kicks off at Goodison Park where Everton take on Arsenal.

The hosts go in to the weekend in twelfth place, and could move into the top half albeit temporarily with victory here.

They lost last time out in the league when West Ham United came from two down to take all three points though they beat Chelsea in the quarter finals of the FA Cup last weekend given them an extra chance to secure European qualification next season.

Bryan Oviedo is a doubt for Roberto Martinez’s side though he has returned to training following a chest infection and Gareth Barry and Kevin Mirallas are both suspended but Muhamed Besic could start for the first time since January after recovering from injury.

Top scorer Romelu Lukaku is favourite to get the first goal of the game at 5.5 (9/2) with a number of firms, with Arouna Kone a 9.0 (8/1) chance with Betfair.

The home win is 2.7 (17/10) with a number of bookmakers with the visitors as highly priced as the 2.75 (7/4) on offer from Coral. The draw can be backed at 3.62 (34/13) with 888 Sport.

The Gunners kick-off nine points behind league leaders Leicester City and their only win in their last eight games in all competitions came over Hull City in their FA Cup fifth round replay.

Since that victory at the KC Stadium they have been eliminated from both that competition and the Champions League, and another defeat here could see them slip out of the top four come Sunday afternoon.

Mathieu Flamini picked up a hamstring injury in Wednesday evening’s defeat to Barcelona and will miss out along with Aaron Ramsey, Jack Wilshere, Petr Cech, Santi Cazorla and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain

Olivier Giroud is widely available of 6.5 (11/2) to open the scoring ahead of 7.5 (13/2) chance Danny Welbeck.

Arsenal won the reverse fixture at the Emirates Stadium back in October and you can back both teams to score here at 1.57 (8/15) while Betfair offer 1.75 (3/4) for there to be three or more goals in the game.
