Muhamed BesicPremier League outfit Everton are set to announce the second signing of the summer transfer window having agreed to sign Bosnian defender Muhamed Besic from Ferencvaros.

The Bosnia international has already joined the Toffees for the pre-season tour of Thailand, while the deal will be made official once the squad return to England next week.

“I would like to thank Ferencvaros for the way they have approached the negotiations. They have been very understanding,” Everton manager Roberto Martinez said.

Muhamed Besic joined the Hungarian side two years ago on a free transfer from Hamburg SV and has since made 47 league appearances, scoring 1 goal.

He largely impressed playing for Bosnia at the 2014 World Cup, starting all three fixtures as the Dragons crashed out in the group stage.

Besic, who can play in the heart of defence and as a holding midfielder, will be club’s second signing of the summer, following the arrival of Gareth Barry.

However, with Romelu Lukaku and Gerard Deulofeu returning to their parent clubs, the Toffees are no less than 2.75 (7/4) to achieve a op 6 finish.
