Divock OrigiDaily Star is reporting that Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers is hoping to recall Belgian striker Divock Origi from the loan spell at Lille.

The Reds signed the talented footballer in a £10 million deal in the summer, but they allowed him to rejoin les Dogues on a season-long loan.

But, with Daniel Sturridge yet to return from injury and both Mario Balotelli and Rickie Lambert misfiring, the Belgium international could be moving to Anfield sooner than expected.

Liverpool do not have the option to recall the player from his loan spell, but Lille could allow them to bring the player back to England for a small compensation.

After showing a great deal of promise at the 2014 World Cup, the 19-year-old has done fairly well at the start of the new season, scoring 4 goals in 12 league outings.

His parent club Liverpool resume their Premier League action this weekend as they face QPR at Loftus Road, and the Reds are 1.62 (5/8) to claim maximum points.
