England hotshot Danny Welbeck has suffered a new setback as he hopes to end his injury nightmare and makes himself available for selection.
The highly rated footballer underwent a knee surgery back in April and his return date was initially pushed back from September to December.
However, Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has now revealed that his star player is unlikely to return for another couple of months.
“He is still not available because of a bone bruising,” Wenger said. “That deteriorated and it is a big blow to us because we cannot rotate.”
Arsenal’s attacking options did improve recently as Theo Walcott returned into action and Alexis Sanchez now pushing for a place in the squad for the Manchester City game.
The Gunners face a crunch tie against the Citizens later today and they can be backed at 2.45 (29/20) to emerge victorious at the Emirates.
