Cabaye FrancePremier League outfit Crystal Palace have produced a major coup by securing the signature of French midfielder Yohan Cabaye.

The Eagles won the chase for the former Newcastle star having agreed a club record £10 million deal with Paris Saint-Germain.

Cabaye has signed a three-year contract at Selhurst Park, while the overall transfer fee could rise to £13 million depending on performance related bonuses.

It was current Palace boss Alan Pardew who first brought Cabaye to England, having signed him for Newcastle back in 2011 and he will now get another opportunity to work with the experienced footballer.

Crystal Palace enjoyed plenty of success last term after Pardew had taken over the reigns and they could be in for another good season.

After finishing the previous campaign in 10th position, the Eagles can now be backed at 3.50 (5/2) for another top 10 finish.
